Sunday Potager Ramblings #88

Well, hi there. How is your weekend going? We have the Daines Rodeo going on here this weekend so the town is bustling. Love seeing the town full of folks having fun.

Luckily, the weather has turned to sunshine.. at least for a few days. We enjoyed the parade yesterday morning. The local art club had my favourite float with the members posing in (cardboard box) frames of famous artists. Witty and fun.

We are taking advantage of the gorgeous weather this weekend to catch up on tasks. The weeds are taking over! Eek! So much to do.

Oh, if you have not watched the ‘Maid’ series on Netflix, I would check it out. I watched all 10 ‘shows’ in two days.

Grandma Gardens are also known as Nostalgia Gardens

I’m going to share two completely opposite kinds of gardens. Here is Designer Leanne Ford’s Gorgeous Home Garden (if you have seen her interiors, which I love, you will have an inkling of the exterior) and then on the opposite spectrum is Experts Say “Grandma Gardens” Are Trending—Here Are the 9 Best Plants to Grow.

Here are some Canadian links to fountains to help you move the water. This Ceramic Pot is super cute for a country look, this Bamboo Fountain for a zen look, this fun Floating Faucet , or the Solar Fountain.

This bee watering station in a birdbath fountain is genius.

The interior of my “she shed’ is Scandi style. A very practical garden shop and potting shed.
A wooden cabinet with vases, pottery, Iittala glass, and ceramics.
Our dining room and living room gets the best light, in the evenings. The cabinet (we still call it a ‘schrank’ though it has been 3 decades since we left Germany) is full of treasures from our travels.

I am making this tonight, hahaha. I drink chamomile tea in the evenings already, so this will be a touch fancier ; )
