I only share things that I have, use, and/or really like.
Please note that I may receive a small affiliate commission if you purchase something through one of my links, at no cost to you. Thank you for your support of my wee blog!
I try to choose Canadian products when possible. Did you know that you can support small Canadian businesses by buying through Amazon?
Also, I only suggest things with at least a 4 star rating. I try to choose the best rating possible, plus I also have to like it/use it in order to share it with you.
Machine Washable Rugs

This rug is currently on sale for less than $30. Check out other colours, too. Buy several and switch them out so you don’t have to wait while you wash them. By the way, they dry in about 20 minutes, too.
If you have big dogs that shed and drool, you need these. I wash my rugs monthly, sometimes weekly.
Also great if you have spilly kids, grandkids… or hubbies ; )

- Here are 3 more of my favourite 5×7 machine washable rugs.
- At the time of posting, they are all under $50.
- The corners stay put, do not curl up, and they are non-slip.
- I buy this size as it fits nicely in my front load washing machine so I can wash it as many times as I want without stressing out my machine.
- If you click on the picture, you will see other colours and sizes.
Raised Garden Beds

I have two of these 11x2x1.5ft Galvanized Metal Raised Garden Beds in my greenhouse, one on each side.
They come in other colours, sizes, and even in two packs. They are way cheaper now than when I bought them.
These rounded edge beds are super sturdy, coated enamel so no sharp edges, will last a long, long time.
- A friend of mine has two of these black raised beds. They look stunning, very bougie.
- The soil warms up faster in spring for earlier planting.
- You can add really great soil (especially handy if you have terrible soil, clay, or hardpan),
- They do not get too hot at the edges, no need to fear. No different than wooden beds.
- Super easy and fast to put together and install.
Organic Fertilisers

- All Canadian products!
- Organic fertilisers are perfect for new seedlings, indoor plants, all your veggies and outdoor plants.
- Safe for the environment, pets, and beneficial insects.
- Cal-Mag is what my grower friend uses on her tomato seedlings before she sells them to you so they are less apt to get BER(blossom end rot), have stronger stems and foliage for thriving seedlings.
- Use compost, well rotted manure, worm castings, and organic fertilisers for anything growing in the ground, in your flower beds, and veggie patch.
In-Organic Fertilisers
- These non organic fertilisers are what I use to keep my hanging baskets and flower pots thriving and blooming all summer long.
- I do not use them on flowers in the garden beds, but you absolutely can.
- The shake and feed is applied twice a year. Once at planting time, or when you bring home your basket. Apply again in mid July.
- The hose end sprayer makes it super easy to feed your baskets and planter pots, to keep them blooming and thriving.
- A fellow I ran into at the Co-op said that the regular liquifeed is great for lawns if you have areas that are needing a bit of extra fertiliser. I have not tried it, but it sounds right.
- The sprayer can be switched to just water so you can water and feed everything at one time. It also has three spray settings.
