Brighten Up Your World as Blue Monday Nears

Blue Monday is this upcoming Monday. The third Monday of January is said to be the most depressing day of the year.

True or not, I have some ideas to brighten your day… just in case ; )

Pretty pots do it every time. These are adorable. I went looking for cutesy ones, but found these and fell in love.

Pop over to your local greenhouse. They will have loads of indoor plants in stock right now. Pick up something that will bring you joy.

This is for anyone who suffers from SAD or maybe, like me, is not going outside to catch any rays right till the snow melts. I’m not sure which I prefer… table top or floor lamp?

If your look is not Industrial, you might prefer appliances in pretty colours.

I have this coffee maker, would give it 4.5 stars : ) This cornflower blue is so pretty.

A pink toaster with two slices of toasted bread visible on the top.
Bella Slim 2 piece Toaster – comes in other pretty colours, too.

Or maybe pink is more your jam? I have both of these in Surf (give them both 5 stars), but they come in several really fun colours, like blue, pink, purple, and green.

I love kitchen appliances that look good in the kitchen ; )

Last, but not least, as they say… For the gardener….

Ready to get growing? Or dreaming about growing? After you take your seedlings off the bottom heat, once they have germinated, they need cool but bright. These seed starter trays are perfect for that.

This daytimer… I FINALLY figured things out. I used to have a journal to jot notes in, paste pictures in, make my must-grow lists, etc… plus a daytimer to keep track of when to do what. I now only have this, A daytimer that has a page for each day so I have lots of room to write down my ideas, goals, draw out garden bed plans… I do it all in one place. 5/5!

Have A Really Great Monday ~ Tanja
