Sunday Potager Ramblings #30

Happy Mother’s Day! Hope you all are being spoiled rotten today!

I am spending the day in the garden, enjoying all this lovely sunshine and heat. They say tomorrow we will get rain… if that is true, the more I can get done today, the faster they will grow after the showers.

This week is full of lawn and garden advice and some super cute diy’s.

From Fine Gardening… Is No Mow May a good thing?

I say yes ; )

How to clean up the yard without harming the beneficials.

Dispelling the epsom salt myth…. #sorrynotsorry ; )

Twisty cinnamon buns. These are so pretty!

I am putting these two pizza dough recipes here because I really want to remember them later on. Need to be able to find them when I need them ; ) This sourdough recipe and a discard recipe, too.

A wooden plate with four freshly baked German bread rolls arranged neatly on a blue woven tablecloth.
My homemade brotchens went over so well. Everyone loved them! Brotchens are rolls that should be eaten the day of baking.

These crusty German bread rolls (brotchen) are amazing!

Hugo Spritz Mocktail.

34 patio cocktails! Whew, that is a lot of ideas!

That banged up pail? Love that thing! It has character. Go thrift shopping, add an old patinaed stuff with the new stuff, and you will have the perfect gift for your momma, your bestie, your spouse, any gardener in your life.
