Pruning Tools

Pruning Tools – tis the season for pruning fruit trees, shrubs, roses.

The red pruning saw does not come with battery, but is a great deal if you use Milwaukee tools as you would have the battery already. If you have DeWalt tools, this saw would work with their battery.

Quick Pruning Tips

• Never remove more than 1/3 of your fruit (or ornamental) tree or you will stress it out, causing more watersprouts and suckering.
• Remove grey. thick, old, peeling branches from your shrubs, leaving the younger, newer ones to grow on for a happier, healthier looking shrub.
• Take off 1/3 to 1/2 of the tops of your roses.

Seed Starting

All sorts of helpful things to get your spring gardening season off to a great start.

• The lights are recommended by other growers, especially flower growers, if you are starting your seeds in the house.
• A fan helps to keep away fungal issues from your seedlings, as well as makes the seedlings sturdier. A must have for starting seeds indoors.
• The grow pod is something that my mom had and really loved, and my coffee friend has one, too, so I thought I would add it in while it is at a great price. Start your veggies inside, or grow year round herbs/veg.
• Heating mats. They cut down on germination time by heaps, keeping your seedlings happy.
• Everyone loves a good weather station!
• Start seeds in the little 6 packs, easy to fit on a windowsill or in a flat. I use these a lot.
• The sticky sticks help monitor your pest situation and get rid of fungus gnats.

• I really want an air fryer. Everyone I know has one, uses one, and says the dishwasher baskets are the answer. Is non stick, too, which is a must have.
• These mason jar vacuum sealers are great for storing your dry goods in the pantry for many months, and even years!
• This heater would be great in a greenhouse… or hubby’s garage/workshop, hahaha.
